What is the Blessed Lota?
The Blessed Lota is a sacred water vessel that holds a special place in the spiritual tradition of Guruji’s sangat. A “lota” is a small metal pot traditionally used in Indian households, but when blessed by Guruji, it becomes a powerful medium of his divine grace and healing energy.
Guruji blessed these lotas with his divine touch, infusing them with spiritual energy that devotees believe carries his healing powers. The water kept in a blessed lota is considered sacred prasad, carrying Guruji’s blessings to all who partake of it with faith and devotion.
Just as the langar and chai served at Guruji’s satsangs carry his blessings, the water from the blessed lota is revered by devotees as a source of spiritual nourishment and physical healing. Countless devotees have experienced miraculous recoveries and divine grace through the blessed water.

Spiritual Significance of the Blessed Lota
In Guruji’s spiritual tradition, water holds immense sacred value. Guruji often spoke of the purifying and healing power of water that has been blessed with divine intention. The blessed lota represents this teaching in its most tangible form — a physical vessel carrying the infinite grace of the Guru.
Devotees keep the blessed lota in their homes as a sacred item, treating it with the same reverence as Guruji’s Swaroop (divine photograph). The lota serves as a constant reminder of Guruji’s presence and his promise to always be with his devotees. Many sangat members have shared experiences of feeling Guruji’s divine fragrance emanating from the blessed water.
The tradition of the blessed lota reflects a deeper spiritual truth that Guruji taught: that the divine can manifest through any medium when blessed by the Guru. Just as Guruji said his photographs carry his power and presence, the blessed lota carries his healing energy in the form of sacred water.
The blessed lota is not merely a ritual object but a living connection to Guruji’s grace. When devotees drink the water with complete faith and surrender, they open themselves to receive Guruji’s blessings in their fullest form. This is the essence of Guruji’s teaching — unconditional faith is the key that unlocks divine grace.
Caring for the Blessed Lota
The blessed lota must be treated with utmost reverence and care, as it carries Guruji’s divine energy. Devotees are encouraged to keep the lota in a clean, sacred space in their home — ideally near Guruji’s Swaroop or in the prayer area.
The water in the blessed lota should be kept fresh and can be offered to family members and visitors as prasad. Many devotees begin their day by drinking the blessed water with a prayer to Guruji, inviting his grace into their daily lives.
When someone in the family is unwell or going through a difficult time, the blessed water serves as a powerful source of healing. Devotees have shared countless experiences of recovery from illness, resolution of long-standing problems, and the feeling of deep peace after partaking of the sacred water.
Guruji’s teaching is clear: the power lies not in the vessel itself but in the faith of the devotee. The blessed lota is a conduit for his grace, but it is sharda (faith) and pyaar (love) that activates the divine connection. Approach the blessed lota with a pure heart, leave ego and worldly concerns aside, and experience the boundless grace of Guruji.
